Fat Cat Silver

I started making jewellery in 2009 and my micro business runs from my kitchen in Chichester, West Sussex. I take inspiration from things I love...forest lore, music, the sea, the sky.

Using the best materials, I specialise in fine silver leaf jewellery and marine inspired abstract work, plus other contemporary pieces incorporating images and forms from nature.

Fat Cat Silver is registered with the Goldsmith's Company Assay Office, London.

I sell through local market events, and in the Porta Brighton Boutique in the centre of the Laines shopping district of Brighton.

The original Fat Cat

When I was considering branding and looking into a domain name for my business, our enormous tabby cat, Tybalt, was sat beside me and became my inspiration.

Sadly he passed away in early 2024 at the grand old age of 18, but right until the end he would sit by my side while I was creating, and his nickname will live on through my work.
